fluoresceine flood test
The reported leak was affecting the garage ceiling below the bathroom. By doing a fluoresceine test we eliminated the shower as the source and diagnosed a pipe which two plumbers had dismissed as the source for the leakage below.

Floor Junction Grind
Our technician will prepare all wall and floor junctions along with any wall and wall junctions including vertical hob junctions using purpose designed and engineered diamond burs. This process ensures a clean product bond to the tile.
Void areas exposed
Void areas hidden by grout, exposed during the DiaOseal, DiaoSeal grinding preparation procedure. This process ensures superior DiaoSeal product bonding through a mechanical interlocking interface.
Finished Product
DiaoSeal product will be applied to these now prepared main movement areas. The application is in form of a 5mm coving. The product will be colour matched to the colour of the shower as closely as possible to give a neat appearance.
drummy floor tile
Listen to the difference between adhered floor tiles (solid dense sound) and drummy floor tiles (hollow sound) when being tapped with an object.
If you feel the vibration within the tile it indicates the tile has de-bonded from the screed. (drummy tile not screed)
Drummy wall tile
Drummy tiles are often indicated by a hollow sound when struck. It can be caused by different factors: improper installation, substrate problems or de-bonding due to moisture penetration to behind the tile from deteriorated, cracked or missing grout.
clean your floor waste
Where does your body hair end up? Cleaning out a shower floor waste is recommended every 6 months. In this video we remove body hair, scum, body fat and building rubble which has restricted this 4' pipe down to a 1'. A wire coat hanger will assist in the clean out.
pressure test
We show a leaking tap spindle, discovered during a pressure test as part of our standard seal service. The leaking into the wall resulted in wet carpet in the adjacent bedroom. Tap service provided and tap penetration sealed to prevent surface water entering.
water behind tiles
This shows the amount of water after one shower, which has built up behind the wall tile. Cracked, deteriorated and missing grout within a shower recess allows this seepage. Removal of existing wall grout and regrouting is part of our standard seal process.
water under screen
Trapped shower water entering through missing or failed silicone sealants accumulates under the shower screen creating a reservoir of water. This water is trapped by the sealants allowing it to be channelled and seep into the wall tile and floor tile junction.
